Yes, I'm still alive. I've just been very very busy which is why I haven't posted in a looooooong time and consequently I probably will rarely be posting here in the future. On a more amusing note, here is another quiz result..

"God will not suffer man to have the knowledge of things to come; for if he had prescience of his prosperity he would be careless; and understanding of his adversity he would be senseless."
You are Augustine!
You love to study tough issues and don't mind it if you lose sleep over them. Everyone loves you and wants to talk to you and hear your views, you even get things like "nice debating with you." Yep, you are super smart, even if you are still trying to figure it all out. You're also very honest, something people admire, even when you do stupid things.

What theologian are you?
A creation of Henderson

Augustine is cool, he's got some great quotes! Like these..

Find out how much God has given you and from it take what you need; the remainder is needed by others. - Augustine

Do you wish to be great? Then begin by being. Do you desire to construct a vast and lofty fabric? Think first about the foundations of humility. The higher your structure is to be, the deeper must be its foundation. - Augustine

If you believe what you like in the gospels, and reject what you don't like, it is not the gospel you believe, but yourself. - Augustine

The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page. - Augustine

I found this interesting quote on marriage a while ago by Tolkien and I wanted to know everyone's thoughts on it. Here it is...

Nearly all marriages, even happy ones, are mistakes: in the sense that almost certainly (in a more perfect world, or even with a little more care in this very imperfect one) both partners might be found more suitable mates. But the real soul-mate is the one you are actually married to. - J. R. R. Tolkien, Letter to Michael Tolkien, March 1941

You are going to Marry orlando Bloom. He will
always treat you right and is very romantic. He

has deep brown eyes and is very good looking
(which is another plus!). He can make anything
cheesy look really hot(like sliding down stairs
on a shield shooting arrows or wearing pointy
ears for example). Congrats!!

I know I know it's been ages since I've had a blog entry but I promise there will be one soon

In the meantime, yes that's right, some more quiz results!

Ballet Shoes
Ballet shoes- beautiful, graceful, and creative,
you enjoy dancing writing and music. You are
often very poetic and sometimes dramatic. You
keep to yourself aside from a few close friends
that you can relate to. [please vote! thank
you! :)]

What Kind of Shoe Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla

I love ballet! But unfortunately I'm not much of ballerina. Graceful isn't exactly what I would call myself, it's more like clumsy

It isn't a poem
Non curo. Si metrum non habet, non est poema. "I don't care. If it doesn't rhyme, it isn't a poem." You are a type A personality. You like bright
things, you don't call in sick to work, and you have devastating opinions about art.

Which Weird Latin Phrase Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla

Latin is a wonderful language! Everyone should take it. It really isn't nearly as hard to learn as it's made out to be and plus, it's a lot of fun :)

I took the following test twice since I was split on choosing some of the answers...

You are Cleopatra of the Nile. The great
biographer of the time, Plutarch, wrote of
Cleopatra, 'Her actual beauty, it is said, was
not in itself so remarkable that none could be
compared with her, or that no one could see her
without being struck by it, but the contact of
her presence, if you lived with her, was
irresistible . . . It was a pleasure merely to
hear the sound of her voice, with which, like
an instrument of many strings, she could pass
from one language to another . . .' You have a
spark in you that draws other people to you.
Indeed, you are drawn to others because you are
always curious. People can talk to you; and
you have a passion in life to know, live, love,
and learn. Please rate my quiz.

What famous female ruler are you? (written for the girls)
brought to you by Quizilla

You are Marie Antoinette of France. You have a loving and giving heart, but have no idea where to stop. You are often thrown into situations of which you don't know how to handle. You are the victim of people who think you can't do anything. But you have a huge power inside you and a smile that will melt black hearts. You will not sink down to other's level.

What famous female ruler are you? (written for the girls)

^ Ummm I think they forgot a little detail.....she was beheaded by the people of France! Not exactly the person in who's footsteps I would like to follow  But it wasn't that she was an evil ruler or anything she was just put on the throne with the expectancy to rule when she had no upbringing whatsoever on being queen. So consequently, she spent her time with parties and other such vanities while the people of France fell into poverty and thus we have *drumroll*....the French Revolution! And it was during this period that Marie was captured and beheaded for her inability to properly rule a country. Scary huh?
